Teeth-In-An-Hour™

Teeth-In-An-Hour™ is a digitally planned implant treatment designed to make the surgical and restorative phases work together from the beginning.

For patients who are good candidates, the oral surgeon and restorative dentist can coordinate implant placement and the replacement teeth before the day of surgery. This allows much of the treatment to be planned in advance rather than making important decisions during the procedure itself.

The process begins with a detailed 3D scan of the jaw. Using those images, your surgical team can study the available bone, important surrounding structures, and the ideal position for each implant. Digital planning software is then used to create a customized surgical plan based on your anatomy.

A surgical guide may be created from that plan to help place the implants in the intended positions. In selected cases, this approach may also allow the implants to be placed with less disruption to the gum tissue.

Because the surgical and restorative steps are coordinated ahead of time, the replacement teeth may also be prepared before implant placement. For the right patient, this can create a more efficient treatment experience and reduce the amount of time spent in the surgical chair.

Not every patient will qualify for this approach. Bone volume, oral health, medical history, bite, and the type of restoration being planned all need to be evaluated first.

At Silver Spring Implant & Oral Surgery, your treatment is planned around your specific anatomy and needs. Your doctor will review your imaging, explain the available options, and help you understand whether a computer-guided implant approach is appropriate for your care.
